Miles, our 2 year old son is bonding even more with his daddy this week.. while I'm taking care of the store during Amuseapalooza. Miles had the best week ever with Ken. He took him to the railroad museum, played with his bubble machine, the water hose, Funderland, and just hanging out with his family and friends. Ken is bummed he has to go back to work next week.. what a way to spend your vacation.. with daddy!!! Or in Miles' pronounciation...Da-eeee.
Linda Carnell gave me a quick blog site set up 101 class just before she left and helped me create my blogsite and showed me how to post pix. So here's some additional pix from our VIP party we had last Sunday. We had more than a dozen pizza's.. salad... drinks... and cookies and 4 make and take stations. Linda lead a keychain make and take and we did two cards and a luggage tag. It was a lot of fun. Only two more days of Amuseapalooza.. I'm going to seriously crash and sleep! 
Hello.. my husband and I still have to get more pix posted of our weeklong event. I'm so sleep deprived... but it sure has been fun hosting the big event and meeting new customers who are excited to make a card using the new A muse stamps. We have so many card samples, please bring your cameras and take pictures!
Thank you also for being patient as I learn this blog thing... I am computer illiterate and want to show off the store and cards we make so it will be up shortly.
Anyway... I just wanted to highlight our event with Linda Carnell, owner and designer of A muse art stamps. She is the best! We had a great time chatting and talking about stamping and she gave my staff and I all kinds of cool ideas to create cards with her stamps and papers. I'd say we carry 90% of whatever Linda has. She is the Oprah Winfrey of rubberstamping... what Linda says.. people do... I'm a happy follower. Hee hee.
Linda flew in on Saturday and she was at the store all day on Sunday and Monday leading make and takes and talking to customers who were as excited as we were to have her visit the boutique. I took her back to the airport on Tuesday morning and went back to the store to help teach more of our Amuseapalooza extravaganza. This weekend .. we have back to back classes --then.. I crash.. I have to catch up on my zzzzz's...I'm starting to get delirious! See you soon!
Wow! We had a great first day during our a muse a palooza event. Today. our special guest, owner and designer Linda Carnell greeted our customers to a free make and take creating wine tags. We have 78 new fall, holiday and miscellaneous images created by Linda and her team and we've made more than 2 dozen samples that adorn our new shabby chic table. My inventive husband Ken suspended the cards using fishing line and making a grid like card holder. Isn't it cool? Please feel free to come in and shop and see all of our cool new stamp images and cards and don't forget...there's a new make and take everyday until Sunday. Our hours are; m-f 10am-6pm and sun 11am-5pm. We have a few more class spots for our big amuseapalooza class on Saturday and Sunday. Make 12 cards with the new designs...get fed.. and bring home a goody bag! Talk to you soon.
