We had our first invitation class and here are some of the fun projects we did.
the first is a movie night invitation. I attached two tickets to the outside of the popcorn box. I just used white paper bags and the A Muse polka dot papers. I then filled the bag with fun movie snacks like microwave popcorn, licorice and the matchbook includes the tickets.
The tickets were printed on the new A Muse gingham cardstock and I punched it out of the mint green scallop rectangle punch.
The next invite idea is a baby shower. This is a pocket fold and it's held together by ribbon. Just cut a sheet of 8.5 X 11 cardstock at 4.25 X 11 and score at 5.5 and 1.5 inches.
This invite is very fast, you can even write in the information.
This bridal shower invite is also a very fast way to put on a party. Take an 8.5 X 11 sheet of cardstock cut it in half at 4.25 X 11 and score it at 5.5 inches. Then using your paper cutter cut both pieces angle to angle at the score line. Double stick tape the two pieces together and at the bottom of the cardstock I cut a piece of foam tape and cut it once again in half to close the two triangles.
This last invitation is made with the mint green scallop square punch. i punched it twice and cut a piece of cream cardstock at 2.25" X 11" and scored at 2.25" to make perfect squares.
The cupcake tier is by Impress rubber stamps... i used brown liquid applique to get that glazey chocolate ganache look.
I masked off the A Muse Date, time, place, and RSVP and used tiny little party icon stamps on the bottom.
