I'm on a roll now!! I'm finally posting some card ideas.. I know I'm lame and getting this blog thing all worked out--- late.. but better late than never. It's been busy at our home! I'm working and running around with my head cut off (as usual), Ken is working and working at the store-- and our 2 year old son Miles caught a bad cold! I think I'm catching it too.. so I'm drinking my Teavana at night...I'm hooked on that tea store. I am also down to 5 red bulls a week vs. 7 red bulls. I don't like coffee..it makes me jittery, but red bull... man.. that stuff works!!!! I never drank an ounce of coffee when I was a tv reporter.. I never even really ate fast food.. now I'm the Queen of both.. go figure. By the way, my hubby took all of the pix.. if it was up to me to do this.. you would just get an online diary of me yakking away.. cause I am no photographer.. it would basically look like a piece of scary art. Anyway.. here's a few more card creations.
Quartro leaf set by Hero Arts, Prisma glitter/quickie glue pen, and Impress rubber stamps happy fall word (yes, we carry the entire line of impress rubber stamps!!!)
This is a fun monkey card. Sock monkey stamp by: Paper candy.
This is from our aloha card class. Flower stamp by savvy stamps, aloha stamp by A muse art stamps.
This is one of my favorite cards! Flowers stamps are by:
Memory box co, rubber soul,
word stamp by A muse art stamps. Gemstones by doodlebug. I used Tim Holtz distresser to tear the paper on the edges and took a stippling brush and tapped it in colorbox chalk burnt sienna and dipped the four corners of the paper in colorbox chalk dark brown ink. I used versafine sepia to stamp the flowers out and punched out two flowers and one small circle in scrapbook paper to make the center. It's a fun card to make. Oh yeah.. whenever you see me coloring in the flowers or any image. 90% of the time I use copic markers. We carry the entire copic ciao line and once you use these alcohol based pens.. you never go back to using other pens.. this is another Linda Carnell of A muse art stamps favorite things. I told her.. she's like Oprah Winfrey.. when Linda says.. she likes this.. everyone and their mother likes it.. including me!!! She has this power over cardmakers... I tell ya!
I love dragonflies and this card was created for a dragonfly class. Flourish by Judikins, Word stamp by A muse, dragonfly by outlines rubber stamps.
This is one of my favorites. I just created it on Saturday and I have a lot of other cards still to come for my East meets West cardmaking class this weekend! Anyway.. the stamps used are by Impress and savvy stamps. I used prisma glitter and the new stickles glitter glue color "cotton candy".. have you tried the new colors? There's burgandy, baby blue, cotton candy, and asphalt.. love them all!!!
