Happy new year! I finally made some cards this past week-- we're gearing up for three card classes coming up! I hope you had a nice holiday. Miles got too many toys. Our house looks like toys r us.. or the island of Sodor with all of his Thomas trains. Now, my son is really into "CARS" the movie, so we watch it over and over and over again. I think I know all of the characters names... scary!
Here's are some fun Valentine's treats you can make for your kids' classrooms or workfriends. It's really easy. It's using the Marvy blue scallop circle and yellow circle punches or using the blue and yellow heart punches and sandwich-ing in a mini york peppermint patty. My girlfriend Kathy Kilbane and I designed these and colored in the little characters in a matter of minutes. This is what they look like on the front side.... images are all by a muse art stamps and memory box co.
this is what they look like on the back side. All sentiments are by a muse art stamps and memory box co.
You can also use the pink and blue square punches to make other
favors. Here, I used ghiradelli square chocolates. This is the front side.
and this is the back side. So cute!
We also have a Valentine card class and still have a lot openings. Here's a sneak peak at some of the fun cards we'll be making.
The first is using our ek success daisy punch. I just puinched out enough to spell LOVE and used fruit punch stickles glitter glue in the middle.
This next card is a great girls night out card or a Valentine to a girlfriend. This martini is a new stamp by impression obsession. It's a valentine martini with a bow and arrow and on the side is a mini cupcake with floating hearts in the drink. It's soooooo cute!
I then took a heart punch and stamped love blooms by a muse art stamps. By using stickles and prisma glitter you can really make this card bling!
Enjoy!
Don't forget our Valentine classes are Friday, January 11th from 6-8pm and Sunday January 13th from 5pm-7pm -- it's $35.00 for the class and you'll bring home 6 complete cards!
Ooooooooooooh, finally just now recovering from the after-Christmas half-off sale (of course I'm totally excited over my new Christmas stamps so all I want to do is stamp Christmas cards...). And now I'm being dazzled by hearts & flowers and cute little "love monster" stamps. I've already purchased my York Peppermint Patties candies (2 bags!) and I can hardly wait to get cracking on those too-cute Valentine treats. My co-workers won't want to open them because they'll be so adorable!! Love the ideas that you've shown...candy is ALWAYS good... Guess I'd better get Marvy punch-happy.
To everyone at The Paper Garden...best wishes for a wonderful New Year - Cheers!!
