We have a make and take on Saturday from 11:30am-1:30pm!! Please come and have fun decorating chocolate heart shaped candies and decorating heart shaped suckers! We also had a make and take on Tuesday and this is what we made.
It's a pencil holder. Using the purple, pink and blue scallop circle punches, I used glue dots to secure the pencils onto the cardstock. My girlfriend Snowda told me it would be a great chopstick holder too! What an awesome idea!
It's perfect for Valentine's day to give to students especially if parent's don't want to give sugar to their friends.
I used a muse art stamps little dolly girl, a heart background and in this picture a muse art stamps heart gift. This is what the pencil holder looks on the backside.
You can stamp any sentiment you'd like. This is by savvy stamps.
Curse this day-job that holds me hostage during the weekday Make & Takes!! How cute is this little pencil holder?? I'm not even a teacher and I want to make up a batch of them to hand out (hmmm, wonder if I'll remember this around Halloween time??).
Thanks so much for including a Saturday for a Make & Take day - at least that way I don't feel like a complete loser (make a cool new stamped item AND get a discount on my purchases...aside from winning the lottery - what could be better??).
Looking forward to our next class!!

How cool and clever are those cute Valentine pencil cards. I can't wait to visit your place in person. Shannon says it's her favorite shop in town, and from your blog I can tell why. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
