We had a busy and wonderful weekend with Dave Brethauer, owner and designer of Memory Box Inc. Our fun-filled weekend began on Friday evening with Dave unveiling his winter line at our little boutique! Dave lead two free make and takes and we had pizza. It was so fun!
He taught 3 sold out classes on Saturday and 3 other sold out classes on Sunday.
Many of our customers really liked the watercolor class. Here's Tina, Miko and Erna concentrating on the colored pencil technique.
Dave signed books, catalogs and Miko's newly started collection of Memory Box stamps!
Even Lynn's father "daddy" came to the class and did the watercoloring technique.
We had a blast this weekend!
BUT....Of all the fans Dave had, I think my son was his #1! He followed Dave all over the store and wanted to be his little helper, then, when Dave had to go to the bathroom, he sat down by the bathroom door and waited for him to come out! He even woke up early and ran to the back of our house to see if Dave was awake so he could play, when we dropped Dave off at the airport, Miles said.. "Mommy, can we go on an airplane to see Uncle Dave? He needs me to be his helper."
Thanks again Dave for everything!! We all had a great time!
Dave has already committed to coming back to Sacramento, next October!
Friday night was a lot of fun. Enjoyed doing the make 'n takes, which made up for not being able to take Dave's classes. It was super neat to meet Dave and glad to hear he has agreed to come back next year. That is a super picture of Dave and Miles. Thanks for having him come to Sacrmaento and look forward to him coming next year.

It sounds like a fun and energetic weekend for everyone. So glad the classes were such a success. I'm sure fun and learning entwined to make a great place to be.
