Make and Take -- Tuesday, May 5th

Our make and take this year lands on cinco de mayo!!  What a nice way to celebrate teacher appreciation week as well!  Come and enjoy a special 10% discount as well as learning something new and giving a gift for your teacher!

 

This is our apron die-cut.  It's great for bbq party invites, cooking/baking invites as well as garden invites!  There's a pouch and you can put seeds or an invite inside.  We made this one up for teachers.  If you purchase your paper from our store you can use our die cut machine for free!  Stamps are by A Muse.

Make and Take --Sunday

Please join us for our special Sunday make and take for brides!  Anyone can participate but these ideas are geared for our special brides! 

 

Our make and take is this Sunday, April 26th from 11:30am-1:30pm

This is a fun monogram notepad.  It's so easy to do.  I cut cardstock at 3.5 X 5 and scored the paper at 1".. i then punched holes at the stop to affix ribbon.  This is a fun planner for your purse or car.  Brides can put their to do list on it .. it's also a great shower gift --here's an idea--- put the initials of your guests on the notepads and give them out as gifts.  A Muse has these fun polka dot initials and they come pkg'd in the entire alphabet! 

Make and Take -- Friday, April 24, 2009

Please join us this Friday from 11:30am-1:30pm for a fun make and take project.  Don't forget the week of May 3rd begins teacher appreciation week!  Do something special for your teacher!  I think teachers are underpaid and need more respect!!!  Miles' preschool teacher is the best and i really respect her for being with my son and his classmates 8 hours a day!  I really respect teachers more now that i'm a parent.  Anyway.. this is a fun make and take just for those special teachers.

Make and Take-- Sunday, April 19th

Every Sunday in April (with the exception of Easter Sunday, we are closed) we will have a free make and take geared for brides!  Here's a fun favor idea for showers or weddings. 

This is using the new blossom line by A Muse.  I used peppermint pattys (the mini ones) and sandwiched them in using the blue marvy scallop circle and the ek success 1.75" circle. and then put a fun piece of ribbon on the corner of the treat.  Here's a look of the back of the treat.

More asian cards

So here's the last of the cards we'll be making.. hope you can make it to our class!

This card is made with a kanji newspaper writing background.  I then used a stamp set by Kodomo for the flowers.

This next card is one of my favorites.  I embossed the cranes by Kodomo in ruby and gold and the sentiment is by Memory Box.

This last project is actually a bookmark.  i stamped a blossom tree as the background randomly in the corners by impression obsession.  Then, i stamped geishas and put them onto the bookmark like a collage.  this geisha set is by Kodomo.

This is a great make and take for anyone, but this weekend.. it's all about "Mom."

Using the new blossom stamps by A Muse and beautiful cardstocks, I came up with this idea.  I didn't have my husband this time to help me figure the measurements, and i was pleasantly surprised that i actually did it!  Anyway, we'll have free templates and this make and take when you come visit the store.  When you open up the pkg.  --there's a sweet treat inside!

Here are some of the cards that we will be making!

This first card is made with a set by Kodomo.  I used the mutli-colored pad and then stamped it and cut out the clouds and blinged it up with prisma glitter.

This next card I thought i would make festive and use the same color ink as the ribbon.  i stamped little cherry blossoms from Impress randomly and the sentiment Happy Birthday is by Savvy.

This next card is made with a set by Kodomo.  I used three different colors of color box chalk ink and stamped the village with them.

When you open the flap there's a nice sentiment by A Muse.  We have three more cards to show you tomorrow!

Spring Cards!

Spring is definitely in the air in Sacramento!  At the Paper Garden Boutique... we go through a big box of tissue in a week...maybe 2 boxes!  It's a beautiful time of the year (sneeze!)... here are some cards we'll be making.  Please join us on

This first card i made into an invitation.  I used the new cardstocks by A Muse.  So Pretty!

   I stamped a flower by Savvy stamps in orange and put prisma glitter all over.  and thought this would be a fun outdoor spring party.

This just in... 7 new colors of color box chalk.  If you ever take one of our classes at the store, you know we always use fluid chalk ink so i was so excited to hear that we'd be getting some new colors!  I used two of the new colors.  Two of the new colors i used are 

"gray whale" for the big flower.  and "sour apple" for the bird.  we have all of the colors in stock now.  the other 5 colors are:  popcorn (it's white and shows us great on dark colors even stardream paper and it dries!), blackbird , ocean, pumpkin spice, and toffee (we're still  waiting for this to arrive.)  So fun!  Stamps by A Muse and Savvy.

 

This card is a big background stamp by Hero arts.  i inked it up with olive pastel fluid chalk and then colored in a few flowers and added some cream paper flowers.  Did you se the spots of gold?  that's the new "SMOOCH" we just got a shipment of them in and have all 8 colors now.  You will love this new product!
