Please join us on Monday, July 27th, 2009 for another one of our popular asian card making classes! class time is: 6pm-8pm cost: $35.
This first card is one of my favorites because i'm always thinking "what can i make into an invitation?" This one is a #10 card 4.25 X 9.25 . I used a Kimono background set by Kodomo. The cherry blossom background is by Hanko and the tree in a vase is by Impress.
This next card is made from stamps by Kodomo. Kodomo has new clear sets, i used two cherry blossom sets, one of them comes with a bird.. or couse .. i had to use that one!
This next card reminds me of my childhood. I remember playing a card game with my grandma called "hana", you match the pretty pictures and the more scenery on the picture means more points. I would love playing this game all day with my grandmother and she would have money for us to bet... of course, she would always rig is so i would win!
The stamps are by Judikins. The cards we carry in the store! you get a whole set for 16.00.
This next card is made with Hero arts stamps. I cut out the little children and punched out the new washi papers from hero arts to make a background.
i though this was a fun idea. Why not invite someone of your friends to a sushi party! and handout some fun chopsticks as the invitation! The stamps set is made by A Muse.
This last idea is a fun box. you can put a delicious traditional cake inside called "manju" or an "an pan" or you can put in fortune cookies (choc. dipped ones -- even better!). The crane stamp is made by Kodomo. We hope to see you on monday night!
