The notepad is a mini composition notebook that I altered by using A Muse cardstocks and a fun buttefly stamp by Savvy. I blinged up the butterfly to give a glittery appeal. I also used punches to make tabs in the book. It's so easy to make.. even you can do it and give it away as gifts!

Make and Take Monday
We have another fun summer Monday make and take. Please join us between 11:30am-1:30pm and you will make this fun calendar. I'm already thinking about getting organized for 2010 and making these for Miles' teachers, gifts for friends, neighbors, stocking stuffers. etc!
I wanted to make a little desk set and didn't know how i would do this and of course, my husband ken came up with this idea in about 2 minutes! whatever!!!! I put a mini post it not on the side with the 12 month calendar. I then used a nice everyday floral stamp for the side! what fun! Please join us on monday!
Waterfall card number 3!
Here is the third waterfall card we did in class on friday. Everyone had a great time and couldn't believe how easy these were to make once we did them together!
On this card, I used all bird stamps! and i used robin's egg blue and green colors to give it somewhat of a blue vintage look.
as you continue to pull the flap you will see different party birds with the last page reading.. happy bird-day! So fun! Stamps by hero, A Muse and Savvy.

Back to school idea.
For many families, school has already started. Miles doesn't start until after the labor day holiday, but here's an idea to put in your children's lunch box. You can also change up the stamps and make them as party or wedding favors.
This little box takes up one sheet of 8.5 X 11 cardstock and i randomly stamped apples all over and tucked the ends in to make this little treat box. So cute! All stamps are by A Muse.
Ken's CD Photo album class Saturday and Sunday
Ken is back with more creative fun! Please join my husband on Saturday, August 22 6pm-8pm and Sunday, August 23, 5pm-7pm for his CD Photo album class.
This photo album is an actualy CD case. We covered it with washi paper and stamped cranes all over and embossed it.
When you open it inside, you can stick pix inside using a cd disc or printed pictures, also embellish it with tags.
You can keep adding cd cases to make bigger books as well! This is so fast and easy to make.
And by adding chording and a fun asian embellishment it really makes the album complete!

Waterfall card class - Friday, August 21st.
Please join us for our waterfall cardmaking class this Friday from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm cost: $45
You will learn to make 3 different layouts. I have two made up to show you! These are the most talked about cards in our boutique and now is the chance to learn how to make them yourself!
This first card is a waterfall pix card and it measures 5.5 X 8.5. You can put 6 pictures on it and it will flip and you can journal on the opposite side.
these make great gifts especially if you don't want to give a whole photo album of pictures to someone. There's just enough!
I just love all of the fun pictures of miles!
This second card is an invitation. I made this one into a halloween party invite.
This one will fit an a6 envelope. As you pull on the ribbon it will read, Howl-o-ween, monster mash bash!

Make and Take Monday

we just got in our new mini 2010 calendars.. they come in 3 sizes! These make great office gifts, teacher gifts and stocking stuffers!
Stamp and paper is by A Muse. We stamped the flower in versamark and heat set it in white embossing powder. The cardstock is cut to 4.25 X 11 and I scored it at 5.5 and then 1" on each of the ends so i can fold it to make the stand. So easy! Please join us for another fun make and take!
