Memory Box owner and designer Dave Brethauer traveled from Seattle this past weekend to teach classes... everyone had a wonderful time... and learned so much from this talented artist!
Dave taught in the old toy store next to our boutique, so there was more room.
He taught a memory box holiday card class using his latest winter stamps,
a watercolor class...
and colored pencil class.
everyone was so focused!
Dave has a global following.. but i think my son is his biggest fan.. i wish i got a pix of you him with "Uncle Dave" -- as soon as i picked up miles from school on friday, he couldn't wait to show dave how to build a house with lincoln logs and they were like old friends. he didn't want to share him and got very upset during dinner at Cheesecake factory because he wasn't paying any attention to him and asked that his daddy pick him up.. he admitted he was jealous --go figure!
