Please join us on Tuesday, May 3rd for another fun make and take geared just for the teachers! It's teacher appreciation week and we hope that you will thank your teacher! Teachers are the most underpaid profession! They spend more time with our kids than we do! They educate them and get them ready for the real world. I must say, Miles' teachers are a gem and i will spoil them during this week and have a week long list of fun things and presents for his 4 pre k teachers!
This is a fun notepad you can make and it just doesn't have to be for a teacher, you can put something else on it for a list pad or a note pad for your purse or desk.

Last weekend we had a special guest come to our store to teach classes! A Muse art stamps owner and designer Linda Carnell came for a fun weekend of classes. The most popular class was the Copic marker class that she taught. Everyone learned a lot of new tricks with these wonderful pens!
Linda's classes were so big that we had to hold them in the old toy store next to my boutique.
We had a fun time as well.. Linda and i went ribbon shopping and shopping for fun pkg'g supplies for our stores.
Plus we stayed up until pass midnight talking and giggling like high school teenagers.
We all had a great time with linda and hopes she will return this September for the paper garden's 4th year anniversary sale! By the way.. Happy 9th year anniversary to A Muse and her wonderful products and card designs! Thanks again linda for everything! Can't wait until your next visit!

We have fun new twines in our boutique! Come get them before they are gone. These spools have a 100-yards of twine made right here in the USA! I love these twines, they are thicker and heartier than other twines, plus these are fun colors and i love the packaging! for 17-bucks, you can get 100-yards! Twine is the "it" thing right now for packaging, sewing and using it on cards! So inexpensive, so hip.. again!
We have all of the colors available, chocolate, lime green, yellow lemon, lime and aqua. i already hoarded a spool of each color!

Plese join us for an end of the month make and take. Friday, April 30th 11:30am-1:30pm and you can give this to your special teacher!
Wouldn't this be fun to give a basket of these to your teacher with different sentiments or to put them on a tray for the teacher's lounge. Teacher appreciation weeks is always celebrate the first week of may and this will really make them feel special. I read that giving apples to teachers has always been symbolic from the early days when students would give their teachers apples as presents because they couldn't afford to give money or a gift. instead they would pick an apple from their tree and hand it to the teacher as a way of rewarding them for the fruits of their labor. It was a healthy inexpenive treat that teachers would then tell the giving student. thank you! remember.. "a" is for "apple".
