Please join us this Friday for another fun asian card class. .. this time.. it will be with all of the new memory box asian designs!!! I love these new designs by dave brethauer. he will be teaching classes at our store in august. Please download our newsletter at
www.papergardenboutique.com and take a watercolor and/or colored pencil and christmas card class with dave. we promise a good time! here are the cards we will be making!
Friday, July 16th 10am-12pm or 6pm-8pm cost: $35.00
This first card is made with dave's new bamboo kimono stamp. i used his inspirational chops and punched them out with the yellow square punch.
This next card i used dragonflys and embossed them and then used stickles for their wings. the three circles are background stamps and i punched them out.
for this card.. i used all brilliance inks. i love the color combination. brilliance inks dry so nicely on stardream paper.. you just have to be patient.
This one if my favorite card. i used the cherry blossom randomly and embossed it in pastel embossing powder by judikins. i then embossed the chop and crane in gold. the cardstock is stardream--- of course.. if there any other compatible cardstock??????
This card is the four seasons. and then chops represent, winter, fall, spring and summer.
this next card is round punches using pieces of the stamps and then punching them out. so fun! like an asian brady bunch card! hahahaha.
and finally.. the kimono stamp is so fun. i embossed it twice in gold and cut them out.. i then used the chop in rocket red brilliance ink. please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in the cards and dave's classes!
