Make and Take -- Friday, Saturday, Sunday July 1-2-3

in honor of 4th of July.. we wanted to celebrate the red, white and blue and give you an easy but festive make and take .  this is a great hostess gift or present to give the kiddies while they are out bbq-ing or having a fun time setting fireworks!  take a look!

 
i found these flag inspired tootsie rolls at bel air grocery store.  2 bags for 4.00.  sooooo cute!  they fit into our bags!!!!  i love these!  i used the pink marvy star punch and walla!  a fun independence day treat!  please join us and make these fun treats!

More birthday cards--this Friday and Saturday class

I finally finished the last of the cards for this weeks birthday card class!  they turned out so cute!

 
this first card is a fun hat card that i made with some scraps that i had and twine!!

 
here's another fun card made with twine and polka dots!!  i saw a card similar to this on split coast stampers and thought....hmmm... i must copy this concept!  so cute!

 
this is another fun accordian card.. so how did i get this quad-fold??  my cousin brent was folding cardstock for fun and i said.. hey!!  i am going to copy that!  he's so clever and just a young teen!  the front side looks like this.. and turn it around and take a look!

this card is a great present to a girlfriend. ... i made this library pocket with memory box' new die cut.  i put it through my big shot and an instant pocket!!  soooooo soooo fun!  the pocket holds a series of gift tags.  wouldn't this be a great hostess gift!  i punched the gift tags with the mint green marvy punch using our own cherry blossom cardstock.

this is a class that you will want to take because birthday cards should always be on hand to give someone.  hands down.. it's the most popular event stamp that we sell in our boutique on a daily basis.. anything to do with "happy birthday" -- we are not equal in any shape of form.. but birthdays are something everyone receives!

Make and Take --Friday and Saturday

Please join us for a fun make and take on Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th  11:30am-1:30pm.  we will be making this fun chocolate bar shaped into an american flag!  Take a look.  i got these chocolate bars from trader joe's .. what i like about these .. when you peel away the wrapper.. there's an aluminum liner!  so this way, you can easily put your own cardstock on it and make it original!

i covered the candy bar with navy blue cardstock and used fun red cardstocks to make it a vintage look.. and of course.. the star says it all!  this makes a fun hostess gift to give out to everyone on independence day!  give one even to your soldier friend, relative or neighbor and tell them thanks for supporting our freedoms!  please join us this friday or saturday!

Paris cards!

Please join us this Sunday, June 26th 11am-1pm and Monday, June 17th 10am-12pm for another fun paris card inspired class.  I just finished the cards and i'm so excited to share them with you!!! 

 
this first card has moulin rouge colors!  the dark rich reds and greys mixed with black!  i made somewhat of a collage with this card.

 
this next card is one of my favorites.  if you ever come to our boutique.. you will see a lot of cards made with this dress form by b line designs.  it's one of my favorites.. as it reminds me of project runway.. or something from a vera wang showroom!  this is my vera wang wanna-be dress.

 
this next card is very simple.  i just embossed the fleu de lis by peddler's pack in bronze and embossed the eiffel tower by impression obsession with black detail. 

 
this next card is made from inspiration by one of our journals in the store.  it has a pink background just like this and a black chandlier.  really pops the colors out!  best thing.. this card took less than 5 minutes to make!

 
this next card is another one of my favorites for the simplicity.  this background french script is a stamp by memory box and the crown crest is by b line designs.  the ribbon is by midori.

 
and for this last card.. i made it into a vintage french tag.  i love the gold and pink colors.  i dressed it up with a ribbon and glittered the edges.  eiffel tower is by the prickley pear, paris word stamp by b line designs, the crown is by judikins and the vintage rose is by impress rubber stamps.

this next card is another great idea of what to do with "twine" -- i made a rainbow of it using a few colors.  this card reminds me of the skittles commercial.. it's a rainbow of flavor!

 
this last card is one of my favorites.  it opens up at a slant.  i used fun pastel floral papers by memory box.  very spring like!

i love how this first card has simple pastels .. i love the robin's egg blue and light pink.  the stamp is a clear set from impression obsession.  they have the best cupcake stamps!

 
this next card is super simple with card scraps.  you can easily make this card once you have the cupcake punch by martha stewart.  i just punched it out with different papers and put it together.

 
and for the last card.. this is a fun vintage cupcake card made with kraft paper and polka dot background cardstock.

this first card reminds me of marilyn monroe!  this is a classic 50-s style party dress.. perfect even in 2011!  the dress is by b line designs.. the sentiment is by impression obsession.

 
here's a fun girlie card that promotes everything in a lady's life.  sugar, music, clothes, shopping and fashion.

 
this card reminds me of a french garden.. i love the blossoms on the edge.  the card is a tri-fold and opens to these body forms.

this next card is a row of body forms with curtains.  it's like the new york fashion show!

this next card was really fun to make.  i always had it in the back of my mind to make old fashioned lollys with twine.. and here it is!!!  so fun!  i took about a yard of each twine and made these fun little suckers!

this last card is my favorite!!! punches are soooooo awesome.. and this one is no exception!  this is the large marvy flower punch (purple).. punched it out and used the blue circle punch by marvy to make the center of the flower.  it's a fun lemonade card... take a look...

here are the fun cards we'll be making:

 
Judikins rubber stamps makes the most beautiful and elegant, classic kimonos.  when i first opened my store, one of my first purchases was to order all of the kimono stamps.  this card is made with tiffany blue and blue granite shimmer cardstock.  i stamped the orchid for a background and embossed it with white powder..the kimono is stamped and embossed in silver... i cut it out and then put a chop on the bottom right corner.

 

this next card is also by judikins.  the cherry blossom background is an edger by martha stewart.  i stamped the kimono on gold stardream and embossed it in metallic gold.

 
this next card.. i used soft pinks.  i embossed the kimono by memory box in bronze and colored it in with soft pink copics.

 
this next card is a "z" card...i used a cherry blossom background stamp by judikins and colored the blossoms with "smooch" -- the kimono is by memory box.

 
when you open up the z card. you will find two kimonos and a place for a message.  so fun!

 
this is one of my favorite cards.  i just love the cranes on this kimono... i even embossed smaller cranes for the background.

 
and for the last card.. the "kabuki" card.  i made this one all red and white and black.  beautiful!  stamps are by judikins, memory box and prickley pear.
