Make and Take --Tuesday, November 1st 11:30am-1:30pm

it's already november!!!  yikes!  i can't believe it.. i feel like i just put out our halloween stamps on the shelves and now..it's turkey time and presents galore.  gee'z.......

in honor of the winter season.. we're making a cute cute make and take our customers are already ooo-ing and aaah-ing at... she's too sweet!

it's an angel!  the wings are made with our heart scallop punches and the halo.. so cute!  my husband did not get a pix of it.. but there's a halo that hangs over her head!  it's cute also to make as an "advent" calendar.

please drop by this Tuesday, November 1st 11:30am-1:30pm and make this adorable angel... we'll also have her as a make and take... second saturday along with one more free make and take and a surprise guest!  stay tuned......

this card is fun... i used a pumpkin border punch by ek success and used the "princess pumpkins" to bling up with prisma glitter.

With Halloween almost here.. we are already into Thanksgiving and creating table cards, favors and favors.  here's a fun make and take that literally says "gobble, gobble!"

Fall Cards

this card is my favorite..  it's very simple.. yet.. so elegant!  i stamped the wheat in black and then embossed the dahlia!  love it!  i think i'll make stationery packs with this color combo and try a few other combinations as well!

for this card.. i stamped these new leaves by memory box randomly in brilliance chocolate ink.

this is a fun card.. i love memory box' tag stamps.. these are great to use for a collage card or an a-t-c.  the leaves punch out is an edger by ek success.

and finally.. love the sentiment.   i only wish i could do calligraphy like this!  i stamped random leaves in different fall colors using fluid chalk ink.  please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

More haldoween treats for the kiddies!

Here's another fun halloween treat for the trick or treaters or something you can make special for co workers and friends.

i made these mini m & m holders for my son's neighborhood friends and cousins.  i just covered the container with our damask cardstock and decorate dthe top with the scroll punch..isn't this scroll punch so cool!  it would be so fun to punch it out in hot pink too for a girly one! 

one of my customers gave me the great idea of telling me to not throw away the dispense because you can fill it up with quarters and keep it in the car or she gives it to her daughter to wash laundry.  so cool!!!

More asian cards

Here are the other two cards we'll be making in our asian card class this Friday 10am-12pm and saturday, 4pm-6pm

this card reminds me of an organic card..it's so simple, yet so elegant.

and finally this next card is also very simple.. i just used two circle punches and heat set the kimono in an eggplant color embossing powder.   once you open the card...

Miles' halloween treats

Each year i try to make up something fun for the kiddies in miles' classroom .. so this year, i came up with this full-sized hershey chocolate bar!

i decorated it using black cardstock, white cardstock for the web edging and orange polka dot cardstock.. of course, the spider just makes the front so festive for halloween!  and of course.. look at the twine!!!

  yes.. we have new halloween twine in stock!!!  so so so fun!!  can't wait to share with the first graders in miles' class!

Asian Holiday cards--Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22

Here are 4 of the 6 cards we'll be making. 

this first card has the love character with washi paper cherry blossoms.

this next card, i stamped two different gingko leaves with brilliance inks and then i sprinkled

prisma glitter and heat set the card..the glitter stuck to the ink so it looks like frosty gingko leaves!  so cool!

this is a fun card, i stamped little kokeishi dolls randomly in different brilliance inks and then stamped a small kanji character with "arigato".

and this next card uses our exclusive stamps by memory box.  i took our two cherry blossom stamps  and randomly stamped the branch.. again. with brilliance ink and then cut out the middle of the big blossom to layer it.  remember.. you can use brilliance inks on stardream cardstocks and get a beautiful look.  it takes awhile to dry but in the end..it looks so nice!!!  please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

Free Make and Take--Sunday, Oct. 16, Monday, Oct. 17th and Friday, Oct. 21st

We have a special make and take that we are sharing with our customers.  my husband made this pumpkin on wednesday night after seeing it splitcoaststampers.  i had him revise it because mine was not standing up and because it just didn't look right.  of course.. all he had to do was look at the theory behind it all.. and came up with this!

isn't this sooooooo cute!!!!  this would also be cute for a place card holder on halloween or thanksgiving!  on the bottom of the pumpkin's rim, the lolly stands on it perfectly so the cardstock doesn't fall over.  it's really cool!  you have to see it to believe.  almost like a magic trick!  we'll show you how to put this fun treat together and what you need to complete this fun holder!  we are offering several dates because our customers yesterday were asking.. how did you get that lolly to stand up so straight!

Picture Perfect holiday card class

Please join us for our picture perfect holiday card class.  we will have several dates for this class.  be sure to bring photos to layout your cards.  you don't have to use these cards for your holiday version..it's just so you can see what it would look like!  we'll create 4 different versions... here are three of them.  we'll post the 4th as soon as i finish creating it!

this card is so fun!  i totally knocked it off of jennifer mcguire's site.  she is one of the lead designer's for hero arts.  i saw her card in a magazine.. and though omg.. i must do for this class!  she's so talented!

this next card is a santa outfit on the front and when you open it up... there's an old pix of miles!  so fun!

this last card is very elegant and it uses our exclusive damask cardstocks!  again.. another old old photo of the family!!!  miles is 2 or 3 in this photo.. oh my.. my hair changes so much!
