Holiday gifts and goodies class!

This Holiday Season.. you can be the Martha on the block!  We created 6 fun projects for our holiday gifts and goodies class.  This is one of our most popular classes during this time of year!

Here are 5 of th 6 projects.

this is one of my favorites!  isn't he so cute!  he looks just like the grinch.  all wrapped up in a hershey chocolate bar!  This is designed for all of your bah humbug friends!

these next two projects were created by my handsome and talented husband ken!  He made both the santa and elf with punches!  So cute! 

the legs are made with m & m's and we have the cool bags in our store!  i love how the elf is made with punches!

the santa is also made with punches since my husband does not like to stamp!  so fun!

wouldn't this be a great gift topper on presents or even hanging this on a tree with a gift card tied to the back!

this next project is made with hot cocoa!  this is a double envelope the first pocket has hot cocoa and the back has a sheet of cardstock for a sentiment!

and for the last project.  i am so excited to find these wider bags that fit the ek success 2" scallop punch!  inside are pearson's peppermint patty's.. they have them wrapped in red and green for the holiday season!  you can easily fit 4 of them in the bag and look at our new cool chevron ribbon!  we have it in 6 colors!  so fun!  please call the store at 916 487 2737.  any of these project will be so fun to give to friends, family and co workers!

Also.. we have a special guest-- my doctor friend Dr. Cy Carpenter who has both a medical degree and works as a holistic doctor as well.  He has an informational website:  www.sachealthhealing.com  Dr. Carpenter has agreed to talk "free" to anyone who wants to know more about getting healthy naturally.. and more importantly about women's health issues.  He'll even tell you how to cook those veggies or which ones are not good for you!  You will get a wealthy of information at the same time.. get creative with two free make and takes:

Last year, this was our most popular make and take.. we had to do it again because we revised it!  Using the triangle punch by marvy all you do is fold the corner to the side and add our new "pom poms".  we made the bottom of the hat with the yellow scallop square punch by marvy.  adding a tag with some twine really tops this santa hat off!

and for the second make and take.. create this beautiful angel!  i think it would be great to make this angel into a advent calendar and make her in different angelic colors!  so cute!  please join us this saturday!

Asian Fall Cards

Please join us for another fun asian cardmaking class on Saturday, November 12th 4pm-6pm and

here are the 6 cards we'll be making:

this card is a tone on tone white stardream card.  i stamped our cherry blossom branch in different colors layering it with the same color, only darker.  then.. i put glitter on the edging.

this next card is my favorite.  i stamped the blocks and embossed them in forest green twinkle.   the colors came together so nicely!

this next card uses our other exclusive blossom stamps that were designed and made for us by memory box!  i used different shades of blue.

for this next card, i used washi paper to cover the front and stamped butterflies all over.  i love to use washi paper on cards, but i have to save every sliver of it.. it's so special!

and for this last card, i saw a similar card design on pinterest.  and had to do it!  my girlfriend terry got me into pinterest.. and now i can't get off this addicting website!!!!  anyway.. this was inspiration for me!  please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

Merry & Bright Christmas card class

Please join us this Friday, November 11th 10am-12pm and Sunday, November 13th 3pm-5pm for another fun Christmas card making class.  This class will use our latest and greatest holiday line of stamps!

for this first card.. i made snow lines with white cardstock and cut it up and then used glitter glue.  i love this new snowman by savvy stamps.. we just got in these mini snowballs!  so fun!

this next card is made with martha's pine branch edger.  it's so pretty!

this next card is my favorite!  i love the snowflakes and this fun chandelier by impress.

i wanted to make a girlie vintage christmas card and this is what i came up for this card!  i love the brown and pink together.

for this next card, i really wanted to stamp a "white" snowman.. i didn't have any!  so i took three circle stamps and embossed them in white! 

this last card, i did a snowflake explosion!  i used different stamps for a background and then embossed a snowmany for the top!  please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

 

Crafters wanted!! Craft show Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

If you are a crafty person or know someone who sews, beads, knits, creates paper products, anything handmade.. please join us for our annual holiday craft faire and delights!  This year it will be held in our shopping center two doors down from our boutique!  We are looking for local artisans.  Cost is just $25.00 (please bring your own table, plus 10% of your proceeds.).  The center is hosting an old fashioned Christmas, so we are hoping to get a lot of traffic!

for the first card:

it's an owl theme...

the wood grain background is perfect!

and each little flip has a fun sentiment.

this card is fast..it's using the purple and blue marvy punches.

i love this next fall card. 

it uses stamps by memory box.. all of dave's backgrounds.

together with our damask papers..it really makes this card elegant!

and finally.. this next card is really simple.. i just used one fern leaf stamp and used different color embossing powders.

these embossing powder are a "twinkle" line from judikins.. so they are glittery!
