Here are the 6 cards we'll be making.

this first card is a fun dresser.  i actually saw this idea a long long time ago looking through some old magazines.  i saw it again on a hero arts flickr blog and thought it would be cute to make it an easter tea and hang some old handkerchiefs out of the drawers.  so cute!

for this next card.. i asked laurie to trace me an egg shape out of an a2 card. and here's what she came up with.  it's so cute.. i used the new hero arts chick... i love how this one came out.. .it's like a big peeps with spring wear.

this next card is a fun daffordil background stamp.  it's actually an old seed packet.  so it would also make a perfect seed packet make and take!  the eggs are a trio by impression obsession.

this next card is made with stamps by memory box.  i used liquid pearls for each of those cute eggs.  i didn't have a fluffy chubby rabbit punch.. so i made up my own by using a small oval by marvy.  he turned out cute!

and finally.. i used our new background stamp and spring flower to make a card using only the craft cardstock. this bunny punch is made by martha stewart.

and finally this last card i made with different sentiments and colored much of this with stickles and liquid pearls.

Celebrate Leap Year--Feb. 29th

Free Make and Take -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Join us for a free make and take, this friday through sunday.  This one my creative husband designed and made up!  it holds 3 hershey mini bars and they are so cute wrapped up in spring foils!  you can get two slider boxes out of one sheet of cardstock.  so fun!

we'll give you a print out and directions/template for this fun slider box when you come by the store!

you can also put mini jelly bean inside or a tic tac box!  it's sized perfectly.  ken is the best when it comes to boxes!!!!

laurie helped me make these cards.. thank goodness...she does such a great job and  i am waaaaaaay behind!  here's her step card.  so cute!  the theme is spring cards!  i love all of the pastels laurie used.

here's another version of the ladder card.  this year, laurie used this layout for her christmas card/photo... so this one was easy for her to put together.

and the fun diagonal fold.  this one folds up into a small square.

and finally.. the waterfall card.

 This class was so popular last month.. we hope you enjoy another fun card class this month!  We make 6 different card projects with different ways to fold your cards.  here's are two of the 6 projects.

this card opens up and when you open it ..it says "spring" -- i love the colors!!!  and with the twine..it really shouts the colors of springtime. 

the classic pocketfold.  this is new stardream cardstock for us..it's "chocolate" and it's very dark and glittery.  the cardstock is heavy and very beautiful... it's becoming my favorite.  i embossed our exclusive cherry blossom branch in pastel and it really looks beautiful.  i used stardream coral and stamped it also in pastel.  it looks almost like custom stationery.  so beautiful.  a customer of mine came in today and she is throwing her friend a baby shower using these colors.  i stamped the shell of the card because i thought that it needed some kind of design on it and when i did.. i thought.. wow... look how that glistens on the cardstock..it really stands out.  what a beautiful look.. in fact.. it reminds me of my calvin klein sheets!  hahahahhaa... really it does!  too bad the rest of my house doesn't look this pretty!!!!!!

Julie Ebersole's return visit to Sacramento!

Well.. hopefully the weather will be perfect for julie's visit!  WE are so sorry her classes were cancelled in january because of a horrible snow storm in seattle.  we are so grateful that our customers were so understanding!  Well.. the good news is .. julie is returning on:
