please join us for a free make and take this Friday, June 29th and Saturday, June 30th.  you can make this summer fun "butterfly" box.  When you buy your cardstock at our store.. the best part is that you can roll these beautiful butterflies out for free!  these make a great favor for a summertime party or a great gift for small items as the box in the middle will hold jewelry, candy and other little gifts!  please join us this friday and saturday!

birds of a feather cards

We have a fun and exciting card making class this Friday, June 29th 10am-12pm and Saturday, June 30th 3pm-5pm with the theme "birds"

here are the "6" card we'll be making.

this first card is made with white polka dot punches..small ones by ek success.  punched a punch and used this fun hero arts newsprint bird.  it's a fast and easy card.

this next card i used different owls and stacked them on top.  i also used this big "doily" stamp for a background.

this is a new stamp for us by impression obsession.  i love hummingbirds.  they have such beauty when they are flying.  i used smooch to color the image.

for this next card... i used another doily background and stamped my favorite bike image.

and for my last card..i used a new bird stamp by impression obsession and had the bird's singing "just a note to say helloo!"  please call the store at 916 487 2737 of you are interested in this class.

 

Summer cards

This weeks cards were all designed by laurie!  i love them all!  this one has pretty rich gold tones.

This card is one of my favorites.  laurie made the watermelons with punches and the marvy daisy punch for the seeds.. so clever!

this is a new pinwheel by karen lockhart.  by the way.. have you signed up for karen's classes yet?  she's coming to our store for the first time on july 7th and 8th!  hope to see you there!

this next card screams hawaii!  i can smell the tropical flowers now!

this is another one of my favorite cards.  i love the seashells in the background and this fun underwater sea castle!  this would make a fun invite for a pool party!

and finally.. it's not summer unless you have a bike!  bike stamps are very popular in our store.. and this one is the perfect size!  please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class.

 

 

Free make and take --Saturday, June 9th and Sunday, June 10th

We have another fun make and take -- Saturday, June 9th and Sunday, Jun 10th.  i really like this one!  Today.. i went to party city and got two bags each of red, white and blue "sixlets" candy.  the white candies are on sale this week for 3-bucks and you get a lot!  i put them all in a big bucket and mixed them up.

i put them in our popular 1 X 8 bags that we sell in the store and punched out different sized stars.  so fun!

Kimonos and Yukaktas class

this card is very simple and elegant.. and i love the three tone colors of silver, red and black... the splash of gold brings out the other colors.

this next card is one of my favorite kimonos.  i like it because it reminds me of washi paper.

for this next card, it reminds me of a shoji screen with three kimonos.  i like how it opens up in a trifold.

this next card is one of my favorites.  i love the yellow and black tones.  laurie made this card is it's just lovely!

this kokeishi doll has always been one of my favorites by hero arts.  the little dolls come into a set of 3.

and for this last card... i used memory box's new line of dies.  this one is a lantern.  i colored the little lights in different colors and sparkled them up!  please call the store at 916 487 2737 , if you are interested in this class.
