Free make and take --Friday, August 31st

Please join us this friday to make this cute and fun kitty treat holder.  we made the kitty with the mint green circle punch by marvy.  it's so fun and easy!  collect them all!  we made several different versions of this including the spider!  eventually.. we will do them all as a free make and take!  come by this friday and try it for yourself!

Ghosts and Goblins card class

We have another fun halloween inspired cardmaking class.  here are the times:

Sunday, August 26th and Monday, August 27th 10am-12pm cost:  $35

Here are the card we'll be making:

for all of your word stamps that are related to halloween.. here's a great wya to put them to use!  i stamped each one in black and orange and then used a spider web and stamped it in silver.  the tape on the side.. is new paper tape from martha stewart!  love it!

all of us at the paper garden have been loving the new "embossing folders"  it gives you that letter press look without the expense!!!  take a look at this card with the web in the background.  so fun. the big black widow is the new memory box die.

we got new halloween paper packs from martha stewart and used it for this fun card.  the eyes are cardstock too!

this card is really fun too.. i love the colors!..and the stamp.. look at that cool font!

this card with the googly eyes is perfect!!  "boo!"

this is a new die for us..it's a flip card die.  when you pull the two ends.. the square flips to the other side!   please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

Waterfall Card Celebrations

This is a great time to learn the fun waterfall card method!  we'll make 4 different cards.. class times:

cost:  $45   Here are the cards we'll be making:   first up:  a wedding card that could be used as a bridal shower, wedding or anniversary greeting! the next card is is a baby card which could be used for either gender. for the next card, it's a fun circus themed card.. i think this would also make a cute birthday invite. this next card is a birthday waterfall.. all i did was emboss is in silver! please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

Christmas in August

Get ahead of the game this year for the holidays and start creating your christmas cards early!  We have anothe fun class this Friday, August 17th and Saturday, August 18th from 10am-12pm cost:  $35

Here are the 6 cards we'll be making:

This first card was super easy to make.. i used a strip of our decoraitve damask cardstock and cut out the poinsettia after i embossed it in black.  so elegant!

this next card i totally copied from memory box... in the background it's hard to see.. but there's the holiday sentiment embossed for the background and the new reindeer die for the front.

it's easier to see in this light.

this next card uses flower soft..polar white.. a must have this holiday season!

this snowman card is all punches and cut outs!

this card is anothe copycat from memorybox. i just changed up the colors and used embossing folders for the background.  that's my new thing.. i love embossing folders..it's almost like letterpress without the expense!

and for the last card.. i used a martha stewart twig background with memory box stamps and dies.. this is so pretty.. i love snowglobes!  please call the store at 916 487 2737 if you are interested in this class!

Free make and take --Second Saturday, August 11th

Please join us another fun make and take -- Second Saturday, August 11th... this will be a great time to collect all of those fun tic tacs... we already did the snowman one.. but this saturday.. we'll make the rudolph tictacs.. collect all of his noses with wild cherry tic tacs!

Free make and take --Tuesday, august 7th

It's the first tuesday of the month free make and take.. we have a fun box for halloween!

this is a fun cemetary.. the dirt is made with mini oreo cookies!  i used the martha stewart fence for the box and rolled out the bats with the new memory box bats and used the jack o lantern punch by ek success. so fun!  hope to see you on tuesday!

Memory Box Classes with Wanda Guess!

Hi everyone! Don't forget to sign up for a class next weekend with our guest designer Wanda Guess from Memory Box! She is teaching a Fall/Halloween class and a Winter/Christmas class each day - four classes in all!

paris cardmaking class

Please join us for another paris-inspired cardmaking class.  These cards are always one of my favorites.  Class is Sunday, August 5th 11am-1pm and Monday, August 6th 10am-12pm.. here are the cards we'll be making:

this first card is very easy to make especially with the set we have by cavallini papers.  you can easily make this card in minutes!  i just used 3 different brown ink pads and randomly stamped these.

this next card is the perfect passport for a fun party invite.  "x" marks the spot to love and romance!

this next card uses washi tape on the bottom and a fun lace stamp for the top! 

i love this couture dress.  notice the embossing folders for the back?  it's a damask print.  so tiffany!

for this next card.. the couture continues with fashion and royalty!

and this last card is made with our die cut machine.  i rolled out a scalloped circle and turned it into a card and rolled out a circle..it makes a great card.  please call the store at 916 487 2737

Asian Card class

We have another fun and beautiful asian cardmaking class this friday, August 3rd 10am-12pm and Saturday, August 4th 10am-12pm cost:  $35

this card is great for piecing together a fun asian collage.  we just punched out different kimonos and bakcgrounds to form this card.

this is a fun tag card.  i used bamboo for the background and it really made a nice look.

this has fun summer colors with the parasol and bamboo.

this next card has a washi paper vase with just a portion of the orchid,
